Large hotel designed by Interdesign that made also the Sofitel central and Novotel siam square. Open in 1986 and then the krunthep wing in 1991. Great location in the river and near silom road. Rooms on the main bulding are not really large but for most offer a great view on the river. Larger rooms with balcony and private pool and lobby on Krungthep wing. One of the best hotel in bangkok.

I stay in 1992 in the main bulding in a room with pool view, not really large but with high celling and great view on the river. Beautiful pool and really large choice of retsurants. A short way to silom road and patpong. Certainly one of the best hotel in bangkok. i also check this hotel in 2002.
